How to calculate metal weight online?
Select the profile (round bar, pipe, sheet, etc.), specify the material and enter dimensions in millimeters. The calculator will automatically calculate the mass in kilograms and volume in cubic centimeters.
How to calculate the weight of a steel pipe?
Select the 'Pipe' profile, enter the outer diameter, wall thickness and length in mm. Formula: mass = π × ((D² − d²) / 4) × L × ρ, where D is outer diameter, d is inner diameter, L is length, ρ is steel density (7850 kg/m³).
What is the density of steel for calculation?
The density of structural steel (St3, 45, 40Kh) is 7850 kg/m³. Stainless steel AISI 304/316 — 7900 kg/m³. These values are used in our calculator.
How to calculate the weight of a metal sheet?
Select the 'Sheet' profile, enter length, width and thickness in mm. The calculator will compute mass using: mass = length × width × thickness × material density.
